Job Title: Operations Coordinator
Location: KRG – Kernersville, NC
KRG in Kernersville, NC is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support our Regional Managers. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain diverse experience in a dynamic and growing service industry. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a team player, and highly organized, ready to take on a variety of responsibilities and contribute to the smooth operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and subcontractors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
- Oversee the daily operations of the local project office, including routing and screening incoming calls, managing office supplies, and handling incoming and outgoing mail (including UPS, FedEx, etc.).
- Track and enter hourly employee time, generating weekly time sheets and assisting with payroll compliance.
- Monitor contract and invoice progress, ensuring timely follow-up with contractors and vendors.
- Regularly manage post office trips and ensure all mail is processed efficiently.
- Obtain necessary permits and ensure all project requirements are met.
- Support new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized records related to truck tracking and job-related logistics.
- Ensure smooth communication between field employees and the Operations Manager, acting as a liaison to coordinate schedules, needs, and updates.
- Compile reports, manuals, and other necessary documentation for the operations team.
- Adhere to company policies on safety and confidentiality, ensuring sensitive information is properly managed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in an administrative or operations role. Experience in the construction or water removal industries is a plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work independently.
- Commitment to a safe working environment and promoting safety culture among peers.
- Ability to understand basic accounting principles and assist with invoicing and payroll.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate operational needs.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
