Job Title: Operations Coordinator
Location: Charlotte, NC
Envirowaste Services Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Coordinator to oversee and drive the successful execution of operational projects in our Charlotte, NC location. This mid-level role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership and coordination skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced service industry environment. As a key player in our growing team, you will ensure project goals are met on time, within scope, and in compliance with company standards.
Lead and manage day-to-day operations of local and regional projects, supporting Regional Managers with scheduling, resource allocation, and execution tracking.
Coordinate communications between field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure clarity and efficiency in all phases of project delivery.
Monitor project milestones, budgets, and deliverables, providing regular updates and status reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, invoices, permits, and compliance-related records.
Track and review timekeeping data for hourly employees, ensuring alignment with project timelines and payroll standards.
Oversee onboarding of field personnel and coordinate training, documentation, and orientation schedules.
Identify and mitigate potential project risks or operational bottlenecks, proactively adjusting plans to maintain momentum.
Maintain project documentation systems, ensuring timely filing of reports, permits, manuals, and correspondence.
Support the development and implementation of operational best practices, process improvements, and reporting tools.
Foster a positive team culture by promoting safety, accountability, and professional development.
3–5 years of project management or operations experience, preferably in construction, utilities, or environmental services.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Trello, MS Project) is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with accuracy and efficiency.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; able to influence and align cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles related to invoicing, cost tracking, and payroll.
Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities and strong organizational discipline.
Committed to upholding safety protocols and managing sensitive information with discretion.
Ability to anticipate operational needs and pivot plans when priorities shift.
