Position: Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Kernersville, NC
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour. Overtime available

About the Role:
As a Heavy Equipment Operator at KRG Company, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery on job sites. Your work will specifically involve digging around existing underground utilities, ensuring both safety and precision in environments such as wastewater treatment facilities, bustling city streets, and residential developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Management: Safely and effectively operate excavators and loaders to navigate around existing underground utilities.
Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to traffic laws, ordinances, and safety practices, particularly in potentially hazardous conditions involving utilities.
Work Schedule: Follow a structured work schedule as directed by the crew foreman.
Team Collaboration: Foster positive working relationships with team members, supervisors, and the public.
What We’re Looking For:
Valid US Driver’s License: Required for operating company vehicles and equipment.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year operating heavy equipment, such as excavators or loaders, specifically in utility work involving digging around existing underground utilities.
Certifications: Excavation Certificate, OSHA Course, or Trench Safety certifications are highly desirable.
